Terms of Service
Last updated [[EFFECTIVE_DATE]]
These terms are an agreement between you and [[LEGAL_NAME]] ("WhatWorks", "we", "us") covering the WhatWorks mobile app and this website. By using WhatWorks you accept them.
1. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use WhatWorks for anything unlawful, or to harass or abuse anyone;
- send spam, malware, or content you have no right to share;
- attempt to access other people's tasks, accounts or data;
- probe, overload or interfere with our systems, or work around plan limits by technical means;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
3. Your content
The tasks, messages and files you create remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and transmit them so the service works — for example delivering your message to the person you sent it to. We do not sell your content and we do not use it for advertising.
You are responsible for having the right to share whatever you upload, including anything about third parties.
4. Free and Premium plans
Accounts start on the free Basic plan. Premium is an optional paid plan that raises usage limits and unlocks features listed on our pricing page. Premium is per user: buying it for your number upgrades you alone.
Premium is sold for a fixed duration and does not renew automatically. You are not charged again unless you buy again. Buying while you still have time remaining adds the new duration to your existing expiry date.
We may change plan prices or limits. Changes do not affect a duration you have already paid for.
5. Payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page in Indian Rupees, and the total you will be charged, including any tax, is shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we never receive your card or bank details.
Your plan activates when our payment provider confirms the payment. If a payment is later reversed or charged back, we may suspend the plan.
6. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability
We work to keep WhatWorks running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend it for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features.
Attachments and messages on our servers are cleaned up automatically after delivery. Our cloud storage is a delivery channel, not a backup service — keep your own copies of anything important.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully. You may stop using WhatWorks at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
WhatWorks is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You remain responsible for the work you manage using WhatWorks and for decisions you make based on it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use WhatWorks after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [[JURISDICTION_CITY]] have exclusive jurisdiction.
